Brow lamination is a chemical treatment, not a tattoo. We apply a mild relaxer to the brow hairs, brush them up and outward into the shape we want, then set them with a neutraliser. The hair keeps that direction for six to eight weeks. There is no needle, no pigment, no healing window.
People call this "eyebrow perming" but that is not quite right. A perm adds curl. Lamination does the opposite. It straightens and lifts hairs that naturally want to grow sideways or downward, so the full length of your brow hair is actually visible. Most clients have more brow hair than they realise. Lamination just shows it.
It also works well as a starting point before committing to pigmentation. If you have never had semi-permanent brows and you are not sure about the shape, a lamination lets you see your own natural brow at its fullest for six weeks. If you love it, great, keep lamination. If you want it permanent, you now know the shape works for your face before we pick up a needle.
